Support the SRER
The Society of Race, Ethnicity, and Religion exists to serve scholars whose work addresses the thinking, being, and doing of social difference in the twenty-first century. Too many scholars from underrepresented groups face resource deficits, financial hurdles, professional network obstacles, and an overall lack of both intellectual and practical support. Too few institutions of higher education are equipped or willing to offset these realities. This is where the SRER provides an intervention on behalf of the acute needs of its members, by providing a service to higher education that often, as an industry, increasingly seeks to profit off the wisdom and experiences of marginalized peoples without addressing or recognizing many of these challenges. These goals are not only challenging to realize, but also require fiscal resources. Please know that your generous financial support will be greatly appreciated and will make a difference.
